I am Padma — a former recruiter, hiring manager, and now career coach for senior women in marketing, PR, communications and creative. For over 20 years I was on the other side of the decisions that determined whose CV got read, whose application got progressed, and who got called back after the panel.
I know what the debrief conversation sounds like after the candidate leaves the room. I know what ATS systems filter for at Director level — because I ran them. I know where the specific bias lives for senior women in this market — because I watched it happen, and eventually could not stay quiet about it.
